The B&T Air APC9 PRO AEG Airsoft SMG is a factory-built electric platform engineered to reproduce the compact dimensions of the original B&T APC9 PRO without enlarging the receiver or relying on a proprietary gearbox format. Built around a Lonex Version II–type gearbox, Lonex internal components, and a custom T238 electronic trigger unit, it combines authentic 1:1 construction with responsive trigger performance, durable internals, and practical serviceability.

Officially Licensed B&T Air Product

This model is part of the officially licensed B&T Air APC9 series, developed and supported by Archwick using original B&T specifications and blueprints.

The APC9 Compact AEG retains the dimensions and proportions of the original firearm rather than enlarging the receiver to accommodate standard AEG components. Its CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum upper receiver is finished with MIL-SPEC Type III hard-coat anodizing for durability and an authentic external finish.

True-Dimension APC9 Engineering

Maintaining the original APC9 dimensions while incorporating a Version II–type gearbox required a purpose-built internal layout.

Instead of increasing the size of the receiver or using a closed proprietary gearbox system, Archwick repositioned the hop-up chamber farther forward inside the upper receiver. A specially designed front-feeding magazine system directs BBs forward into the custom hop-up chamber.

This engineering solution allows the APC9 PRO AEG to retain its authentic external dimensions while providing the familiar maintenance, tuning, and parts advantages associated with the Version II gearbox platform.

Lonex Gearbox and Steel Internal Components

The APC9 AEG system uses a Lonex Version II–type gearbox and Lonex steel gear set selected for durability, reliability, and compatibility with different regional power configurations.

The gearbox system was developed to tolerate demanding high-power and high-rate-of-fire configurations. During Archwick factory testing, the gearbox assembly successfully completed extended testing involving tens of thousands of rounds with M150 springs and double-cycle gear configurations.

Custom T238 Electronic Trigger Unit

The APC9 SD Compact AEG is equipped with a custom T238 electronic trigger unit configured specifically for the B&T Air APC9 platform.

The ETU provides adjustable precocking, active braking, battery protection, and low-resistance wiring. Precocking partially compresses the spring after a semi-automatic shot, reducing the delay before the next shot and producing a faster trigger response.

The precocking system provides eight selectable adjustment levels, allowing the user to tune trigger response according to the battery, spring, and operating configuration.

Mid Sized Standard Configuration

The APC9 PRO configuration provides a mid sized external profile with a one piece monolithic upper receiver. It is designed for users who prioritize mobility, fast handling, and authentic B&T styling in a compact electric platform.

Combined with the purpose-built feeding system, Version II–type gearbox architecture, and programmable ETU, the APC9K delivers compact dimensions without sacrificing serviceability or internal performance.
